6th Street Mecca

I had heard about a place called Sixth Street Specials on the lower East Side. Thought i'd mosey on down and have a geeze. I found the owner Hugh, his employee Fumi and what i believe to be the coolest collection of bikes i've ever seen.
Now, i'm used to most bike shops not even blinking an eye lid at a young guy looking for parts. I have to say Hugh and Fumi were true gents.

Trumpie Flat tracker. They like to race at this place...

Probably the biggest king and queen seat i've ever seen...

Another hard-tail in construction, with this chopped up sportster tank.

Bonnie heads anyone?

In every corner there's something. Here's another customers bonnie they're building.

Now, not the best set of photos, but this bonnie flatracker has some unbelievable work done. The side cases are engraved like you wouldn't believe...

Holes have been drilled through the fins...

And the tank is covered in engraving...

Just one of the many Triumph Bobbers

Beautiful Beezer...

Hugh pulled the covers on a featherbed framed norton commando. He told me the price, lets just say I kinda lost my shit. I'm moving back over here...

Hard tailed Beezer. There were just hard-tailed frames everywhere.
